Fondation Louis Vuitton
Another day, another museum. We went to the Fondation Louis Vuitton, on the edge of Paris, to check out their modern art exhibit, which included Munch’s Scream as well as some great pieces by Monet, Mondrian, Warhol, and others. The museum just opened last year and was designed by Frank Gehry. It looks pretty awesome:

Rant: Love Lock Cancer
Parisian bridges and monuments are being literally crushed by tourist flocking behavior.
I’m pretty sure most of the lockers wouldn’t scratch their initials into a park bench, but they have no problem vandalizing a 200 year old bridge. Some people.

Edwart Chocolates
We met Edwart, an up-and-coming chocolatier, at Le Syndicat. He had brought some treats to share with his friends at the bar, and we got to try his amazing tonka bean caramel and tomato pastilles. We promised to visit his shop before we left Paris and a few days ago we did.
Michael Cera and Unicorns and Rainbows
Okay, only one Unicorn. And no rainbows. But still: one of the guys from my top three bands, plus one of the guys from my top three TV shows, on the same stage, making indie music. It’s like god made a weird supergroup just for me.
