We’ve compiled our favorite places, things, and food into city guides that we hope will be practical and easy to use if you’re planning a trip to Europe. Lucky you!
This was one of our favorite spots in Paris. Unlike the other bars I’ve reviewed, A La Française operates on the traditional bistro model; outdoor cafe seating, a limited drink list, and full menu of delicious food. A second bar downstairs has a larger selection of bottles and stiffer drinks. I’ll cover it all.
Lulu White is a really neat spot; they’re doing three things I’ve never seen from another cocktail bar.
I fell behind. Here’s an image dump of cool and weird things we’ve seen on Parisian walls.
From Tivoli Gardens (think Denmark Disneyland)
For you francaphobes out there, Framboise is french for ‘raspberry.’ We’ve been picnicking the last few nights to beat the heat (also we are cheap), and thought some fruity beer would be a nice accompaniment. We tried Cantillon’s framboise by the canal, and Girardin’s at the OÜI FM festival.
