We have been in the tiny town of Vence in the French Riviera for the past few days. It is very “charmant,” as they say here.
We’ve mostly been taking it easy here, wandering around the town, catching up on the blog, and making more great dinner picnics from our finds at the farmers’ market.
Yesterday we took a short hike through town and the woods to the village of St. Paul du Vence, which is a lot like where we’re staying but much more on the tourist map. Like Vence, St. Paul was also as cute and classically provincial as could be.
Tomorrow we are back to the beach for a few days in Nice. We can’t wait for some cool sea breeze!
